What is the point of a Focal Point?
It is an emphasized element that is used to attract a viewer.Empahsis by Contrast: When elements are dark, light form can break the pattern so that it will become the focal point. when elements are soft and light, a dark contrasting pattern will become the focal point.
Emphasis by Isolation:When one element is set aside. The element may be identical to the others but if its set aside, it immediately grabs our attention.

Emphasis using a single element: A strong visual empasis on one element.
